Paris, Milan, London. Europe has a lot to offer when it comes to modeling. The goal of every good model is to one day model in Paris or walk the runway at Milan Fashion Week. Cities like Istanbul also have a lot to offer due to the company productions taking place there, so models living in Istanbul have the advantage of being close to the client. However, you have to be aware that the jobs there are not paid as well as in other model hotspots.
If you want to become a model in Europe, you need to have the right measurements. Especially in the big markets, they are very strict when it comes to size and dimensions.

Contest! Advantages and disadvantages for models in Europe
Advantages of a large market:
You just won’t have the same level of exposure to other potential future employers in a small market. Typically, smaller markets only offer commercial modeling opportunities. If you want to make a name for yourself, your only real OPTION is to work in a big market.
Chance. This point is pretty intuitive. A larger market has a larger demand for the same services. Working in a large market simply offers more gross job opportunities. The sheer number of advertising, editorial, and other marketing or content production agencies in a large market creates greater demand for models.
Money. This follows on from the previous two points. Don’t forget that there are many low-paying modeling jobs at every level and in every market. However, due to the high demand and wide reach of the platforms, it is likely that the best paying jobs can be found in large markets.
Disadvantages of a large market:
Contest. Not only do you have to compete with more people for the same jobs, but many of them have traveled to the big markets for the same reason you have: better modeling jobs. This means that not only the number of competitors is greater, but also the quality of the competition.
Fraud. Consequently, in smaller markets where there are fewer opportunities for models to find work, there is also less scamming. Also, in a small market, it is much harder to hide the fact that an organization is a scam. Unfortunately, on so many occasions it’s easier for scammers to hide in the hubbub and target naive or new potential models.
Criteria. Due to the oversupply of potential models, employers in large markets can choose the “biggest catch”, so to speak. This means that the demands on potential models are increasing due to the increasing competition. Therefore, someone who is an excellent model candidate in a small market may not have the same opportunities in a larger market.
